Pembrokeshire County Council is reviewing its Choice Homes @ Pembrokeshire policy and we would like to make sure that we get as many views as possible from our councillors, staff, tenants, partners and wider community to understand your experiences and thoughts and ensure that we take these into account when reviewing our current policy. We currently operate a choice and needs based housing register which can be found at: ChoiceHomes Pembrokeshire
The policy sets out:
How we manage applicant choice and preference
Who can apply for housing
How we assess and prioritise applicants for housing
Due to the significant pressure we have seen on our register over the last couple of years and our desire to ensure that we have a policy that is fit for now and the future, we have decided to review our approach and seek your views and experiences to help us to manage housing demand in the best way possible.
We would really appreciate your time to complete the following survey. This specific survey seeks views on the aims and objectives of the policy – we will be arranging a number of different engagements over the coming months to seek your views on the specific detail of the policy.
The closing date for the survey is 09/01/2023
Once your views have been collated and analysed, we will be holding a number of further workshops and engagements to focus on the feedback submitted.
This engagement is being carried out by a consultant external to Pembrokeshire County Council. The information gathered will be shared with the consultant in order for an analysis, feedback and recommendations to be made.
